You Feel It?

Take the Next Step
A GamePlan for
Action

1. Do you
feel that the Gospel is the center of your life? Or rather, is your salvation in Christ a
nice add-on much like leather seats in your car?
2. On a 1 to
10 scale, how much wonder, awe, and gratitude do you feel for your
salvation in Jesus Christ?
3. Read Luke
7:36-50 when you are alone at home.
Look closely at verse 47. Think about the wonder and gratitude you
have for Jesus Christ and His cross for a few moments. Now place yourself in this parable Jesus
has told. Are you more likely to be one of the religious leaders or the
women? Does it really matter
which one you are?
4. List a
number of sins that Jesus has forgiven you.
Now take time to worship Him much like the women did in Luke 7.

Concerning
this salvation, the prophets who prophesied about the grace that was to be
yours searched and inquired carefully, 11 inquiring what person or time the
Spirit of Christ in them was indicating when he predicted the sufferings of
Christ and the subsequent glories. 12 It was revealed to them that they
were serving not themselves but you, in the things that have now been
announced to you through those who preached the good news to you by the
Holy Spirit sent from heaven, things into which angels long to look. 1 Peter
1:10-12
But
blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. 17
For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people
longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear,
and did not hear it.
Matthew
13:16-17
